·
Do
you buy and re-sell your products ?.
·
No,
we are a manufacturing company, we understand that the best way
to provide our customers with consistent quality and quick deliveries
is to make the products ourselves from start to finish.
·
Do
you manufacture other type of valves besides Ball Valves ?.
·
No,
we only manufacture ball valves but with many variations, check
our special applications.
·
What
is the maximum pressure your valves can handle ?
·
Our
high pressure valves type 15 & 19 can take 5.000 psig.
·
What
is the maximum flow your valves can handle ?
·
Our
12" full bore valves have a Cv of 26.800.
·
How
do I know which seat and seal material is supposed to be used in
a particular valve ?.
·
The correct answer is that it depends on your application,
therefore you must consider maximum inlet pressure, differential
pressure, temperature, viscocity, Ph, solids, etc. Please refer
to our pressure temperature curves for more data.
·
I
ordered a fail open pneumatic actuated valve by mistake and I need
a failed closed one, what can I do ?.
·
To
make the change just remove the actuator from the valve and turn
it 90º and then remount the actuator.
·
Why
doesn't my valve open or close completely when the actuator operates
it ?.
·
The
electric or pneumatic actuator limit switches may be not correctly
adjusted.
·
When
I energize the solenoid valve the actuator does not turn ?.
·
Probably there is no air pressure to the solenoid
or the solenoid is jammed or blocked with dirt.
·
Can
I buy a valve from another manufacturer and mount your actuator
to it ?.
·
Yes,
first be sure the valve torque is suitable to our range of actuators,
second we will have to fabricate the custom mounting coupling and
bracket to connect the actuator to the valve.
·
I've
installed my automated valve in the line, but now I don't know if
the valve is open or closed, how can I find out ?.
·
Remove the actuator from the valve and check the
valve stem. Most of our ball valves have stem flats at right angles
to the flow when the valve is in the closed position.
·
Are
your ball valves flow sensitive ?.
·
No,
pipe them in either direction. Yes, make sure you don't have a vented
ball.
·
How
many porting can I get from a three way ball valve ?
·
You
can look at the valve as a letter "T" (bottom port) or
look at it as a letter "L" (lateral port)
·
How
do I size a modulating valve ?.
·
Modulating valves are sized for flow control. Therefor
the Cv should be calculated from the flow and the appropriate valve
should be chosen. Feel free to specify your valve in our website
and we will size it for you.
